About Bird's Eye Photography...

As a young kid I first became fascinated with the world of photography on a family trip to Europe where for three weeks I got to experiment with my father's camera. From there my active sports life and love for music brought the two worlds together through film.

With my old Contax camera and Zeiss lenses I began exploring the world of shooting concert shots as well as various sports action when ever I had the chance.

Now with the new era of digital I have been lucky to rekindle forgotten passions through web sites and print. With the task of building the North Surrey Minor Football web site

I required continual changing content including pictures to create a vivid depiction of community football. This lead me to my return to photography.

As my web site developments increased including the building and adminstration of the Surrey Stickmen Lacrosse club web site and now most recently the BC Masters Lacrosse site, the demand for sports photography started to take on a role of its own. All of this has resulted in the formation of Birds-Eye-Photography.

To capture that perfect football moment where a young athlete accomplishes his or her goal is as rewarding for me as showing that parent of the child a moment of time that they can view for the rest of their life.

With my recent successes comes the request for more. Recently I was asked to supply photo work for the annual Vancouver Minor Football League playoff final program. Allowing me to use some creative freedom I supplied cover art that included all possible outcomes for a final Midget division match up. As well various shots from the years action were supplied as fillers in the program.

In the near future I hope to further expand my photography interests to other sports including my son's and daughter's lacrosse where they play both field and box.

My only limitation is time itself...
